Our offices are in the heart of all the new developments in the East, which is a great advantage to most of the developers, as well as residents in this area. Our offices are easily accessible to the public and well equipped to offer the necessary luxuries to our clients. Parking facilities are reserved for our clients, thus simplifying their visits to our offices.

Stephen John Hefferman, the Director of the firm, served his articles at Routledges Incorporated (now Routledge-Modise Incorporated), and was admitted as an Attorney in the High Court of South Africa (Transvaal Provincial Division) on 25 November 1997. He was thereafter admitted as Conveyancer on 17 January 2005, and Notary on 22 September 2008, and has since specialised solely in property law, and in this period of time has established excellent ties with role players in the property market i.e. Developers, Bond Originators and Estate Agencies. He was previously a Director of Bloch Gross and Associates Incorporated (established in 1949), a well-known firm in Pretoria, where he headed the conveyancing department, which included all aspects of conveyancing as well as bond registrations for all the major banks of South Africa.

As from 1 December 2006, he commenced practise for his own account, under the name and style of this firm.
The firm is currently registered with WebConvey and Korbitec (Pty) Ltd, and we utilise the GhostConvey programme ensuring constant efficient service to our clients and colleagues.

Mr Hefferman is duly assisted by a highly experienced conveyancing typist, who has been fully trained in GhostConvey, WebConvey as well as Lawyers Access Web.

The firm furthermore currently serves on conveyancing panels and has access to Absa Bank, First National Bank, Standard Bank and Nedbank in respect of the registration of mortgage bonds. We attend to conveyancing registrations in the Deeds Offices of Pretoria as well as Johannesburg, and act as correspondent conveyancers to numerous attorneys' firms.

Our firm is committed to all aspects of conveyancing, and as such provide regular workshops at our offices in order to keep our business partners informed of the ongoing changes in the property industry. We furthermore keep our business partners informed of such changes via e-mail on a weekly basis. Our professional expertise is constantly available to the public.

We have a proven track record in the aforementioned Deeds Offices, and pride ourselves with fast, effective and efficient service. We understand how important it is to register transfers and bonds in the shortest time possible, and have a turnaround time of registrations in both Deeds Offices of 9 days from lodgment to registration. In Pretoria our turnaround time, from inception or receipt of the instruction (OTP) to registration is usually under a month (once finance has been granted). We have not had a rejected document in both Deeds Offices for over 3 years.

We deal directly with all parties in the conveyancing process, and update estate agents on a weekly basis. Commission is promptly paid on registration of the transfer.
